Modest Beginning
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of the HOLY ONE is understanding." inspired by the verse lifted from Proverbs 9:10, Gracel Christian College Foundation, Inc. answers the challenges of today's youth quest for knowledge.
Gracel Christian College Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit , non-stock interdominational school founded from a vision for service to God through His servant the late Mrs. Cecilia R. Binag, a former Brgy. Signal Councilwoman whom God's Grace was bestowed upon her by the Lord Jesus Christ thus the name "Gracel" was conceived and primarily "Grace and truth come from Jesus Christ" John 1:16.
GCCF, Inc. began humbly as a pre-school under National Federation of Women's Club (NFWC) with 34 students in 1983. Then it became an affiliate school of Peacemaker International Christian Academy (PICA) in 1989 offering pre-school and primary levels with more than 200 students. Greater things happened five years later when God's grace and overflowing blessings were poured upon the founders, late Ex-barangay Captain Manuel B. Binag and the late Mrs.Cecilia R. Binag because of their generosity, love, dedication, commitment and genuine concern for others.
The school's logo bears the Bible which is God's holy words; the torch that serves as lamp unto our feet and the light unto our path and the dove which symbolizes peace from the Holy Spirit.
Gracel Christian College Foundation, Inc. conceived and implemented programs which activate the intellectual and spiritual life by fostering leadership, responsibility, self-discipline and the confidence to apply knowledge to choose a life reflective of moral action.
MISSION
Gracel Christian College Foundation mission is to be recognized as a school in which Christ's life changing power is pre-eminent as the needs of our students are served with integrity and professional dedication.
EDUCATIONAL
PHILOSOPHY
The educational philosophy of Gracel Christian College Foundation is inspired by the truths presented in the Holy Bible which is the heart of our curriculum. Proverbs 9:10 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of Holy One is understanding." Integration of the word of God into all subject matters is the key to having a true Christian School. As the students develop a perspective of life based on biblical principles, they learn not only how to make a living, but more important, how to live.
VISION
Our vision at GCCF is to be a school with curricular offerings and objectives are educationally sound, and actively involve students as they mature into the image of Christ. Students are taught to depend on God's strength, wisdom and by His grace in solving problems in daily life. Christ like attitudes are exemplified within the campus, at home in the community and elsewhere.
